"I was introduced to Empower when I attended "Power of the Purse" in Kandiyohi County. I was immediately impressed with the organization & energy created by the women gathered. It was truly an empowering moment for me. That day WOMEN were making a difference with pride and purpose! It was with fervor that I began to realize Litchfield had the potential to create an Empower group. Through United Way of West Central Minnesota, Litchfield Empower was formed in the February of 2010. Litchfield women now have the opportunity to network together and share a passion. Women can promote strength and courage as we improve our local community through social gatherings and civic engagement.
